Claire Prenton Ceramic Art
I’d like to thank the following people for helping me develop my work.
Justin, my husband, for this wonderfully designed website and all his support, patience, love and encouragement.
Lena Lonnberg-Hickling for all her guidance, help and friendship. Her beautifully colourful ceramics were my inspiration to work with clay.
The staff, volunteers and students of Kirkland Arts Center, for making it a very special place to work. Pat Colyar, Carol Gouthro and Mike Donnelly for sharing their amazing knowledge and skills.
My very special Siamese Cats who are wonderful companions and are happy to sleep the hours away curled up together while I paint my designs. They also keep me from becoming too precious about my pieces by occasionally breaking a few while they explore my work room. When will I learn not to leave them unsupervised!!
Our wonderful family in England, who have always been there to offer us lots of encouragement and support.
